Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Dragon tribal battlecruiser strategy led by The Ur-Dragon. It uses the commander's eminence ability to reduce the casting cost of all Dragon spells by one generic mana from the command zone. The deck accelerates through two- and three-mana artifacts before deploying formidable Dragon threats. Engine pieces such as Dragon Tempest, Temur Ascendancy, and Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm provide haste, direct damage, and token doubling to multiply board presence rapidly. Once established, massive flyers like Ancient Silver Dragon, Ancient Brass Dragon, and Tiamat overwhelm opposing life totals while refilling resources through combat triggers and tutor effects. While the deck possesses explosive damage potential and strong functional redundancy among its aerial threats, its low land count of 28 lands and heavy basic land base create occasional mana friction. Without fast mana or cheap reactive interaction, it thrives in mid-game combat phases by establishing overwhelming board dominance.
