Deck overview

This deck is a Bant +1/+1 counters midrange strategy led by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. It focuses on curving efficient creatures, distributing counters, and using Tidus's Cheer ability to draw cards and proliferate each turn. Early ramp from Gyre Sage and Incubation Druid accelerates the board into potent counter multipliers like Hardened Scales and The Earth Crystal. As the game transitions into the mid-game, threats such as Forgotten Ancient, Maester Seymour, and Wakka, Devoted Guardian grow massive armies. The deck closes games through combat damage by granting team-wide evasion, trample, or double strike using cards like Duskshell Crawler, Rikku, Resourceful Guardian, and Chocobo Knights, or by clearing opposing blockers with an asymmetric Damning Verdict. Strong defensive tools like Inspiring Call and Protection Magic protect the board from sweepers, making this an adaptable and resilient combat deck.
