Commander: Sorin of House Markov // Sorin, Ravenous Neonate

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

An Orzhov Vampire tribal deck built around Sorin of House Markov's extort and life-gain trigger, using a steady stream of lifelink vampires and drain effects to wear down all opponents. The commander converts life gain into burn and theft once transformed, while hidden all-stars like Vito and Exquisite Blood offer a compact two-card infinite loop. The plan is to develop a board of evasive vampires, recur key pieces after wipes, and close either through a drain combo or a large combat swing backed by Sanctum Seeker and Bloodletter of Aclazotz. The deck is resilient to attrition but has no counterspells and limited enchantment removal. Early extort triggers and lifelink attackers usually transform Sorin by turn 4-5, enabling the -1 burn to act as a finisher.
