Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai Elves deck built around turning the graveyard into an activated-ability library. The deck casts Thranduil early, puts specific key Elves into the graveyard, then uses their abilities from the command zone: Lathril's drain, Jarad's sacrifice, Devoted Druid's mana/untap loop, and Immaculate Magistrate's counter pump. The primary win is an oversized Elf/poison combat turn, while secondary lines use Bolas's Citadel, Simic Ascendancy, or a Jarad sacrifice finish. The deck is not built around a double-faced commander; the practical hidden commander is whatever key Elf sits in the graveyard at the moment.
