Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Dragon tribal stompy strategy led by Ganax, Astral Hunter and Acolyte of Bahamut. The game plan uses low-cost ramp and the Background's two-mana cost reduction to deploy Ganax on Turn 4. Once Ganax enters, every subsequent Dragon creates a Treasure token, generating substantial mana velocity. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into its threat phase by deploying massive flying threats such as Thrakkus the Butcher, Twinflame Tyrant, or Ancient Bronze Dragon. Combat amplifiers like Shared Animosity, Unnatural Growth, and Berserkers' Onslaught allow the deck to deal lethal damage across the table over Turns 6 and 7. The deck excels at mana ramp, aerial pressure, and board presence, but it lacks stack interaction and relies heavily on natural card draw.
