Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color midrange strategy led by Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart. The game plan revolves around generating tokens and compounding +1/+1 counters across a wide creature board. Michelangelo provides early aggression and consistent Food tokens via Raid, which immediately triggers Leonardo's ability to put +1/+1 counters on the entire team once per turn. The deck multiplies this growth using effects like Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and Doubling Season. As the board grows, evasive enablers such as Baxter, Fly in the Ointment, Winged Hive Tyrant, and Leonardo's activated ability grant trample, menace, and flying to push through lethal combat damage. While the deck boasts high internal synergy and strong recovery through recursive tools like Luminous Broodmoth and Resourceful Defense, its reliance on combat damage and light interactive suite make it vulnerable to fast combo decks and exile-based sweepers.
