Deck overview

This Golgari deck turns raw creature stats into direct, table-wide damage using Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. The early game focuses on deploying one- and two-mana ramp pieces to accelerate into oversized creatures such as Daemogoth Titan, Yargle and Multani, and Lord of Extinction. Once Jarad and a massive creature are on the battlefield, Jarad's activated ability sacrifices the creature to drain life from each opponent simultaneously, bypassing traditional combat barriers and pillowfort effects. If Jarad is unavailable, the deck pivots naturally into a stompy combat strategy backed by trample enablers and power doublers like Unnatural Growth. The deck possesses explosive burst potential and robust graveyard recovery, but it suffers from a near-total absence of reactive interaction and defensive shielding, making it vulnerable to well-timed removal, graveyard hate, and faster combo decks.
