Deck overview

This Grixis deck is built around Be'lakor, the Dark Master, functioning as an aggressive tribal midrange and burn strategy. The deck utilizes early mana artifacts and cost-reducing creatures to accelerate into its 6-mana commander by Turn 5. Once Be'lakor is on the battlefield, every subsequent Demon cast triggers a Warstorm Surge style ability, dealing direct damage equal to its power to any target while generating substantial card advantage on commander entry. The deck closes out games through a combination of heavy evasive combat damage, continuous ETB burn triggers, and explosive finishers like a kicked Rite of Replication, which creates five Be'lakor copies and generates 150 direct damage triggers. While the deck boasts high individual card quality, resilient backup damage engines, and explosive turns, its reliance on high-mana creatures and lack of stack interaction leave it susceptible to fast combo decks and well-timed mass board wipes.
