Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Zombie Aristocrats and Reanimator strategy commanded by Varina, Lich Queen. It leverages cheap, aggressive Zombie creatures to trigger Varina's attack ability, aggressively filtering cards into hand and graveyard while creating 2/2 Zombie tokens. The primary victory condition is an infinite aristocrats loop centered around Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar (or Warren Soultrader), utilizing redundant drain outlets such as Corpse Knight, Wayward Servant, Plague Belcher, and Diregraf Captain to eliminate all opponents in a single turn. Powerful graveyard enablers like Buried Alive, Entomb, and Stitcher's Supplier quickly assemble combo pieces, while mass reanimation spells like Living Death, Patriarch's Bidding, and Zombie Apocalypse provide crushing board swings and rapid recovery from board wipes. Supported by efficient free interaction such as Fierce Guardianship and Deadly Rollick, the deck combines tribal pressure, resilient card advantage, and compact combo lethality.
