Teddy Bear by djmffnman

Format: Commander

Commander: Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic mono-green "big mana, bigger creatures" stompy deck built around Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. The commander's cost reduction makes every 4+ power creature effectively two mana cheaper, while its attack trigger turns the team into trampling threats. The deck accelerates with one-mana dorks and powerful mana lands like Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Castle Garenbrig, then deploys a wall of high-power threats such as Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Old Gnawbone, and Kogla, the Titan Ape. Card flow comes from ETB-driven engines like The Great Henge, Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Greater Good. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat: Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation for 10+, or Defense of the Heart into a two-card cheat finish. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through sheer board presence, trample, and overrun effects.
