Deck overview

This deck is a high-power cEDH turbo combo and attrition list commanded by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The strategy leverages dense fast mana and efficient Rakdos rituals to deploy Ob Nixilis on Turn 1–2. Once on the battlefield, any effect causing an opponent to lose exactly 1 life—such as opposing fetchlands, Orcish Bowmasters, Razorkin Needlehead, or Kederekt Parasite—exiles cards from your library and grows the commander, creating immense card flow and pressure. The deck threatens an early win on Turn 3 via compact two-card infinite loops with Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute or Agatha's Soul Cauldron and Walking Ballista, dealing lethal damage to all three opponents in a single turn. Defensively, the list protects its win attempts with zero-mana redirection and red counterspells while stax pieces like Vexing Bauble shut down opposing free interaction. Backup win lines centered around Underworld Breach ensure high resilience if the primary plan faces disruption.
