Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Jeskai combat-tempo deck commanded by Sonic the Hedgehog. It leverages the synergy between flash and haste creatures to dictate the pace of the game. By casting threats at instant speed on opponents' end steps, the deck dodges sorcery-speed sweepers and immediately attacks on its own turn, triggering Sonic's Gotta Go Fast ability to distribute +1/+1 counters across the entire board. Incidental damage from combat or self-inflicted triggers like Caltrops and Pyrohemia converts directly into Treasure tokens, fueling explosive mid-game turns. The deck closes games around Turn 6 using massive combat multipliers such as Akroma's Will, extra-combat chains from Aurelia, the Warleader and Full Throttle, or through an infinite copy combo with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame. Robust protection spells like Ripples of Potential and versatile redirect effects keep the engine resilient against opposing interaction.
