New Untitled Deck by dubogtrav

Format: Commander

Commander: Hazezon, Shaper of Sand

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hazezon, Shaper of Sand leads a lands-plus-tokens engine. The early plan is to cast Hazezon on turn three and then convert Desert drops, especially Deserts replayed from the graveyard, into Sand Warrior tokens. Dune Chanter is the hidden commander: it makes every land card you own that is not on the battlefield a Desert, so Hazezon can play any land from graveyards and nearly every land drop creates two tokens. Secondary finishes come from token counters, Impact Tremors, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Desert Warfare hasty tokens, and Craterhoof Behemoth. The deck protects itself with land-sacrifice fog loops and a small but broad interaction package. It is not a fast combo build, but its recursion and landfall chain create explosive turns.
