More Combos Than Dollars by Fredrikie

Format: Commander

Commander: Bartolomé del Presidio

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Orzhov aristocrats and reanimator deck helmed by Bartolome del Presidio uses the command-zone sacrifice outlet to fuel incremental value. The primary plan is to stock the graveyard through milling, then reanimate creatures for death-trigger loops that drain the table via Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and Marionette Apprentice. Auras like Kaya's Ghostform and Gift of Immortality create recursive sacrifice loops, while Sun Titan, Angel of Indemnity, and Shepherd of the Cosmos provide steady recursion. The commander grows with +1/+1 counters from sacrificed bodies, but the engine does not rely solely on him - drain effects and recursion from the Scavenger's Talent and Ninja Tells work independently. The deck wins through sustained life loss and value, aiming to overwhelm opponents with resource cycles rather than a single explosive combo.
