Deck overview

Marchesa, Dealer of Death heads a Grixis crime-draw control deck that grinds value while assembling two distinct infinite loops. The primary plan pairs Niv-Mizzet, Parun or Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind with Curiosity or Tandem Lookout to turn any damage-draw trigger into infinite pings and draws. The secondary line loops Forsaken Miner with Goblin Bombardment and Pitiless Plunderer for infinite treasures and damage, fueled by crime triggers. Marchesa herself is a pure engine, filtering two cards per crime for selection and graveyard setup, while Kess, Dissident Mage and Kaervek, the Punisher act as hidden commanders that recast or copy crimes. The deck plays as instant-speed control with heavy counters and removal until a tutor finds the missing combo piece.
