Posty's Elrond | Game Knights #87 by JohnPear3

Format: Commander

Commander: Elrond, Moon-Reader

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

A mono-blue value deck that turns Elrond, Moon-Reader's activated-ability draw into a repeatable blink engine. The primary plan is to build mana with artifacts and High Tide, then loop Archaeomancer and Peregrine Drake with Ghostly Flicker to make infinite mana, using Venser, Shaper Savant or Agent of Treachery to strip or steal every opposing permanent and win through combat. Secondary paths grind with Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, Conjurer's Closet, and Panharmonicon to out-value opponents, and the 99 includes several interchangeable ETB pieces. There is no hidden commander; the build is designed around Elrond, though the combo lines themselves do not require him.
