Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Grixis Spellslinger Combo strategy commanded by Fire Lord Azula. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost mana rocks and cost reducers in the early turns, establishing Fire Lord Azula on Turn 4, and utilizing her attack trigger on Turn 5 to copy instant and sorcery spells during combat. The deck achieves card advantage through copied looting effects and magecraft engines like Archmage Emeritus and Storm-Kiln Artist. Victory is achieved either through the compact two-card infinite combo of Twinflame and Dualcaster Mage, which creates infinite hasty attackers, or by chaining copied burn spells and rituals alongside pingers like Coruscation Mage, Vivi Ornitier, and Black Waltz No. 3. Backed by cheap countermagic and protective equipment, the deck protects its combo turns efficiently.
