varragoth by zuko_tm

Format: Commander

Commander: Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire is a single-faced commander and the deck's repeatable tutor: attack, pay {1}{B}, and put any card from the library on top. The primary plan is to use that tutor to assemble four differently named Demons and win with Liliana's Contract. Secondary paths are mass reanimation (Command the Dreadhorde, Victimize, Behold the Sinister Six!) and drain/combat from Gray Merchant, Pestilence Demon, and Ardyn-buffed Demon attacks. There is no true hidden commander, though Razaketh, the Foulblooded functions as a second tutor engine. The deck is slow, grindy, and heavily dependent on keeping Varragoth alive.
