Rocco - The Menace by user4718858

Format: Commander

Commander: Rocco, Street Chef

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Naya deck helmed by Rocco, Street Chef is a "cast from exile" value engine that converts every exile-cast - by you *or* your opponents - into a +1/+1 counter and a Food token. The 99 is built around three interlocking packages: impulse-draw engines (Wild Wasteland, Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald, Party Thrasher, Laelia, the Blade Reforged, Etali, Primal Storm, Kami of Celebration) to feed Rocco's trigger; Food/token multiplication (Peregrin Took, Rosie Cotton of South Lane, Academy Manufactor, Baylen, the Haymaker); and +1/+1 counter payoffs (Herd Baloth, Axgard Artisan, Dusk Legion Duelist, Basking Broodscale, Evolution Witness). It wins primarily through combat - pumping a wide token/counter board with Akroma's Will, Night of the Sweets' Revenge, or Kessig Wolf Run - with a compact infinite combo (Basking Broodscale + Rosie Cotton of South Lane infinite Eldrazi Spawn Sunshot Militia) as a fast alternate line.
