Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck leverages Sauron, the Dark Lord as a massive engine for card filtering, token generation, and board presence. By accumulating Ring-temptation triggers through Nazgul, Call of the Ring, and Sauron himself, you rapidly dump high-impact threats into your graveyard while wheeling into fresh cards. The primary path to victory involves cheating massive threats like Razaketh, the Foulblooded, Hullbreaker Horror, or Terror of the Peaks into play via cheap reanimation spells. Alternatively, the deck can easily overrun opponents by scaling up massive Nazgul and Orc armies, utilizing Devastating Onslaught or burn engines like Glint-Horn Buccaneer and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse to close out the game.
