Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck harnesses Lathliss, Dragon Queen to build an overwhelming aerial army. The strategy focuses on accelerating through early turns using tribal cost-reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Urza's Incubator, deploying Lathliss by Turn 5. Once Lathliss is on the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon spell creates an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token. Damage-multiplying triggers from Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragon Tempest convert creature deployment into massive direct burn that clears opposing blockers and burns life totals directly. Haste enablers like Rising of the Day and The Fire Crystal eliminate summoning sickness delays, allowing the deck to swing immediately for lethal damage. While the deck possesses explosive mid-game burst and high individual card quality, it relies on creature combat and natural top-decks for protection and card advantage, making it vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and heavy single-target disruption.
