Morpheus Orpheus Azorius by lasercaptain

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Azorius token-and-draw engine is helmed by Bard, King of Dale, whose two doubling clauses - double every draw past the first each turn, and double every token created - turn the deck's redundant "draw your second card" payoffs and token makers into an exponential snowball. The plan is to deploy early draw engines, land Bard, then chain token generators like Alandra, Sky Dreamer, Prince Imrahil the Fair, and Mischievous Mystic while Anointed Procession and Elspeth, Storm Slayer stack a second token-doubling layer on top of Bard. The deck wins through a go-wide combat swarm pumped by Moonshaker Cavalry, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, or Cathars' Crusade, with Psychosis Crawler as a secondary drain payoff that turns the massive draw volume into table-wide damage. It is a value deck with no infinite combos, relying on inevitability through sheer card and token volume.
