Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck combines Golgari reanimation with an aggressive poison strategy. Led by Meren of Clan Nel Toth, the primary game plan is to infect opponents early using efficient infect and toxic creatures like Glistener Elf, Hand of the Praetors, and Putrefax. Meren continuously recurs sacrificed or destroyed threats, enabling repetitive combat pressure without losing card advantage. Secondary win conditions leverage widespread poison distribution through cards like Vraska's Fall and Caress of Phyrexia, followed by heavy proliferate engines such as Contagion Engine and Vraska, Betrayal's Sting to tick all opponents up to ten poison counters simultaneously.
