Misty Mountains Dwarves - LOTR/Hobbit/D&D/FF Sets Only by Knurlnien

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Dwarf tribal deck helmed by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, built around the intersection of three overlapping engines: Dwarf ETB triggers that flood the board with Treasure tokens, a deep Equipment suite with heavy equip-cost reduction, and the "Storied" mechanic that turns on once you control three or more artifacts, legendaries, and/or Sagas. The primary path to victory is overwhelming combat - Dwarves buffed by artifact tokens, Equipment, and anthem effects swinging for lethal - with a secondary artifact-based alternate win in Hellkite Tyrant and explosive token payoffs like There and Back Again. The deck is a value-midrange build that grinds card advantage through Dwarf/Equipment draw triggers (Giott, King of the Dwarves, Kili the Resourceful, Balin, Loremaster) and closes with a critical mass of buffed attackers, extra combats from Desert Were-Worm, and double-strike enablers.
