New Untitled Deck by wacky

Format: Commander

Commander: Speedball, New Warrior

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Speedball, New Warrior is a targeted-cantrip Voltron deck that turns every one-mana spell that targets him into +2/+2, card draw, and optional redirection. The primary plan is to chain Rile, Shadow Rift, Crimson Wisps and similar cantrips to grow Speedball to 21 commander damage with trample, double strike or unblockable in one or two attacks. Secondary paths use the same spell volume to fuel magecraft payoffs like Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, Veyran and Stormsplitter, plus Willbreaker steals and Chandra's Ignition as a mass-damage finisher. Speedball is both engine and finisher, while Willbreaker acts as a hidden commander that converts redirected targeting into permanent theft.
