Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Green Stompy strategy commanded by Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. The game plan accelerates mana on the opening turns with efficient mana dorks and cost reducers to deploy Goreclaw on Turn 3. With Goreclaw on the battlefield, all creature spells with power 4 or greater receive a two-mana discount, enabling rapid deployment of massive threats like Elder Gargaroth, Apex Devastator, and Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The deck sustains its hand through creature-fall draw engines including Elemental Bond, Garruk's Uprising, and Guardian Project. Combat buffs from Goreclaw, Surrak and Goreclaw, Unnatural Growth, and God-Eternal Rhonas grant trample and double power to punch through blockers. While the deck lacks counterspells and dedicated stax pieces, it features robust permanent removal through Beast Within and Kogla, the Titan Ape, alongside defensive spells like Heroic Intervention to protect its board and close out games through overwhelming combat damage.
