lavania stax by Danielson81

Format: Commander

Commander: Lavinia, Azorius Renegade

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Lavinia, Azorius Renegade is a two-mana tax piece and the lock enabler of this Azorius stax-control deck. With Lavinia or Drannith Magistrate on the battlefield, Knowledge Pool exiles every spell an opponent casts from hand, and the free replacement is either countered by Lavinia or cannot be cast due to Drannith. Omen Machine is a second lock-style piece with Lavinia. The deck uses artifact tutors and a dense countermagic suite to assemble and protect the lock, then closes with Urza, Consecrated Sphinx, planeswalker ultimates, and Armageddon parity breaks. There is no double-faced commander or hidden commander; the Teferi and Jace planeswalkers form the primary alternative win package.
