Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai reanimator-elf deck that turns the graveyard into an activated-ability toolbox. The deck mills or discards Elves, then casts Thranduil to borrow abilities such as Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, Devoted Druid, Lathril, and Jarad. The primary win is to put Jarad in the graveyard, cast Jumbo Cactuar, attack to trigger +9999/+0, and sacrifice it with Jarad's ability through Thranduil to kill all opponents. A secondary Elf-token beatdown route uses Imperious Perfect, Freyalise, Lathril, and Thranduil, Sindarin Liege. The other Thranduil card is a supporting legendary Elf, not a hidden second commander.
