Deck overview

This Dimir midrange list helmed by Rilsa Rael, Kingpin is an Initiative/Rogue combat deck that pressures through unblockable and ninjutsu attackers while racing dungeon completion. Rilsa Rael, Kingpin enters and seizes the initiative, then turns every attack into a deathtouch grant-and, once a dungeon is finished, a +5/+0 first-strike menace pump that converts modest Rogues into lethal threats. The 99 supports this with redundant initiative takers (Acererak the Archlich, Ravenloft Adventurer, Tomb of Horrors Adventurer), Rogue lords and damage payoffs (Anowon, the Ruin Thief, Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow, Bident of Thassa), and Assassin finishers (Ramses, Assassin Lord, Etrata, the Silencer, Mari, the Killing Quill). Primary wins come from multi-combat attrition, Notorious Throng extra-turn swings, and Ramses, Assassin Lord's table-win trigger; there are no infinite combo lines. The deck plays as interactive tempo-combat that grinds value off the initiative and closes through evasion and disruption.
