Astartes Control🚂 | Marneus Calgar by leftlegcemetery

Format: Commander

Commander: Marneus Calgar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Esper token deck uses Marneus Calgar as the central engine, turning every token event into card draw and every token doubler into a force multiplier. The primary plan is to flood the board with tokens from Bitterblossom, Adeline, Marneus's Chapter Master, and planeswalkers, then finish either with a massive combat swing behind Divine Visitation or with Kambal's life-drain triggers. The secondary path centers on treasures: Smothering Tithe and Gleaming Splendor create a repeatable treasure loop, which can win through Kambal drain or Revel in Riches. Marneus is the main draw engine; if he is unavailable, Tivit, Shorikai, Black Market Connections, and Mister Fantastic provide backup card advantage. No hidden commander is needed; the list is built around Marneus.
