Firebending by animark93

Format: Commander

Commander: Ozai, the Phoenix King

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ozai, Phoenix King is a black-red midrange deck that banks firebending mana across turns. The main plan is to cast Ozai with haste, attack to build a floating red mana pool that persists through his replacement effect, then either pump Ozai into a one-shot commander-damage kill or convert the banked red into a massive Fireball. Secondary paths use the Roku and Sozin sagas as backup firebending engines, plus reanimation from Orcus, Whip, and Unearth to recover from wipes. The deck is not a single-card combo; it wins by compounding firebending triggers and redundant pump pieces.
