Cecily and Elmar by user4027951

Format: Commander

Commander: Cecily, Haunted Mage and Elmar, Ulvenwald Informant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This four-color spellslinger deck leverages partner commanders Cecily, Haunted Mage and Elmar, Ulvenwald Informant to generate card advantage, ramp, and board presence. Elmar establishes early momentum by creating Clue tokens and untapping creatures when casting multiple spells per turn. Cecily expands maximum hand size to eleven and casts massive high-impact instants or sorceries for free when attacking with a full hand. The primary game plan accelerates mana, stockpiles cards through Clue generation and draw engines, and resolves game-ending spells like Emergent Ultimatum, Aminatou is Augury, or Apex of Power. Alternate win conditions include burning opponents via Niv-Mizzet, Parun or Psychosis Crawler, or winning directly with Laboratory Maniac.
