Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis spellslinger/combat hybrid is helmed by Fire Lord Azula, whose attack trigger both generates Firebending mana and copies every spell cast while she's attacking. The core loop is to attack with Azula, use the {R}{R} she produces to cast instants and sorceries - each copied - and snowball through extra combat steps from Port Razer. The deck packs redundant copy/value engines in Veyran, Voice of Duality, Ashling, Flame Dancer, Firebender Ascension, and The Tale of Tamiyo, so it can generate massive card advantage and spell volume even if Azula is answered. Wins come from combat damage amplified by copied pump spells (Bulk Up, Monstrous Rage) and Fated Firepower, plus a deep bench of legendary Fire Nation characters that serve as alternate attackers and mana engines. It is a mid-speed value deck that wants to chain combats and bury opponents in copied spells.
