Deck overview

This is a Sultai Elf-tribal combo deck that weaponizes the graveyard through Thranduil, the Elvenking. Thranduil's defining ability - gaining every activated ability of Elf cards in your graveyard - transforms discarded dorks into a mana engine he can run himself, while his legendary-Elf trigger converts each additional legend into card advantage. The deck's core plan is to ramp aggressively with classic mana dorks (Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, Marwyn, the Nurturer), mill or discard combo pieces like Devoted Druid into the bin, then assemble infinite green mana via untap loops (Umbral Mantle, Staff of Domination, Wirewood Symbiote) and cash it in through outlets like Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Craterhoof Behemoth, or Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. Necrotic Ooze and Prime Speaker Vannifar provide redundancy for the commander's ability and tutoring. A secondary combat plan wins through an overwhelming horde of tokens and lords.
