Deck overview

Agatha of the Vile Cauldron commands a high-velocity Gruul combo-engine deck centered on activated abilities and +1/+1 counters. By pumping Agatha's power, the deck discounts creature activated abilities down to a single mana pip, transforming modest mana dorks into hyper-efficient engines and turning utility abilities into game-breaking outlets. The primary game plan seeks to ramp on turn 1, deploy Agatha on turn 2, buff her power by turn 3, and establish an activated ability engine by turn 4. On turn 5, the deck reliably executes game-ending infinite mana loops using Kami of Whispered Hopes or Incubation Druid alongside Umbral Mantle. This infinite mana immediately feeds into a lethal Walking Ballista or infinite combat pumps via Agatha and Kamahl, Fist of Krosa, eliminating all three opponents on the spot with zero response cycles. Backed by a dense package of low-cost hexproof, indestructible, and redirect protection, the deck resiliently defends its combo lines against interaction.
