Deck overview

This deck is a competitive cEDH Stax Snowball deck led by Winota, Joiner of Forces. The primary strategy pairs cheap 0-2 CMC non-Human creatures and fast mana with oppressive Rule of Law and tax pieces like Archon of Emeria, Drannith Magistrate, and High Noon. Once Winota enters the battlefield on Turn 2 or 3, declaring attacks with non-Humans triggers her ability multiple times, digging six cards deep per attacker to cheat powerful Human creatures directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. Because Winota puts creatures directly into play rather than casting them, the deck completely breaks parity on its own casting restrictions. The cheated Humans rapidly snowball into game-ending board states through damage doublers like Blade Historian, token generators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, or an instant-kill combo with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Village Bell-Ringer, consistently eliminating the table on Turn 4.
