Oloro, Ageless Ascetic (Commander) by WhyBeVinceK

Format: Commander

Commander: Oloro, Ageless Ascetic

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Esper lifegain/drain deck helmed by Oloro, Ageless Ascetic is a control-combo build that leverages passive lifegain to fuel card draw and incremental drain effects. The primary win condition is the Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond infinite loop, with redundant pieces like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Defiant Bloodlord serving as additional outlets. The deck also has a secondary plan of draining opponents with Exsanguinate or through combat damage from lifelinking creatures. Oloro provides consistent value from the command zone, gaining life each upkeep and converting that life into cards, but the core combo lives entirely in the 99, making the commander a luxury rather than a necessity.
