Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Food-centric midrange strategy commanded by Greta, Sweettooth Scourge. It focuses on accumulating Food tokens through efficient creatures and token doublers, then converting those tokens into explosive resource advantage and life drain. The early game establishes basic ramp and deploys Greta to seed the battlefield with artifact tokens. In the midgame, engines like Academy Manufactor, Nuka-Cola Vending Machine, and Jaheira, Friend of the Forest turn simple snacks into substantial mana velocity and continuous card draw. The primary win route relies on weaponizing token volume: either draining the entire table through Mirkwood Bats and Nadier's Nightblade as tokens enter and leave, or overrunning opponents with massive combat damage fueled by Night of the Sweets' Revenge and Ygra, Eater of All. While resilient against spot removal thanks to redundant pieces, the deck is vulnerable to sweeping artifact and creature wipe effects.
