Commander: Heartless Hidetsugu

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a glass-cannon mono-red combo deck built around Heartless Hidetsugu's tap ability. The primary plan is to give the commander haste and one of the three damage doublers-Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Twinflame Tyrant, or Fiendish Duo-then activate once. Because those doublers affect only damage dealt to opponents, a 40-life table dies while you take the unmodified 20. Torbran is a supporting damage increaser for the backup Purphoros/token plan rather than the main finisher. Secondary routes use Purphoros/Impact Tremors with token generation, or Brash Taunter plus Blasphemous Act for a board reset and damage swing. There is no hidden commander. The deck is fast but fragile: it folds to interaction aimed at Heartless and needs its limited draw spells to assemble the combo.
