Deck overview

This deck leverages high-stakes life manipulation led by Mister Negative in an Orzhov shell. The strategy hinges on manipulating life totals through pain outlets and symmetric life drain, culminating in massive life exchanges with Mister Negative or an immediate infinite drain loop via Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond. Supported by solid mana rocks and high-end mana engines such as Smothering Tithe and Crypt Ghast, the deck ramps toward explosive mid-game turns. Life-exchange permanents like Tree of Perdition, Axis of Mortality, and Wall of Blood allow players to weaponize low life totals into lethal swings against opponents, while cards like Bolas's Citadel and Black Market Connections turn surplus life into insurmountable card flow.
