Deck overview

This deck is a classic four-color Group Hug and Pillowfort strategy piloted by Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis. The game plan revolves around accelerating the entire table's mana and card draw through symmetrical engines like Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, and Dictate of Kruphix, while keeping the pilot insulated behind robust attack-taxing fortifications such as Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Sphere of Safety. As the board state develops, the deck breaks parity on resource generation using Smothering Tithe, Trouble in Pairs, and untap effects like Seedborn Muse. Victory is secured through non-combat alternate win conditions, predominantly casting and recasting Approach of the Second Sun across a single table rotation, or draining the table with Psychosis Crawler. High-tier defensive instants like Teferi's Protection and Deflecting Swat protect critical setup windows.
