Shessra Life Gain by Castievanialord

Format: Commander

Commander: Shessra, Death's Whisper

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shessra, Death's Whisper leads a Golgari aristocrats deck that wins by draining opponents with repeated creature deaths. Shessra is a draw engine that pays 2 life to draw when a creature died that turn and forces blocks on entry. The main plan stacks drain payoffs like Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, Poison-Tip Archer and Obelisk Spider, then sacrifices creatures for value. Dina, Soul Steeper acts as a hidden commander, turning every life gain into direct drain and doubling the payoff of each death. A secondary combat plan uses Kessig Cagebreakers, Rhizome Lurcher and Demolisher Spawn to go wide or tall. No infinite combo exists; the deck grinds incremental advantage and needs many triggers to close.
