Deck overview

This is an Esper reanimator deck helmed by Sefris of the Hidden Ways that pairs classic graveyard tutoring and reanimation with dungeon-venture value. The core plan fills the graveyard via dense looting, self-mill, and destination tutors (Entomb, Buried Alive, Vile Entomber), then returns high-impact creatures through cheap reanimation spells and Sefris's dungeon-completion trigger. Primary wins come from assembling efficient loops (notably Karmic Guide + Reveillark with a sacrifice outlet into Altar of Dementia) and from resolving haymakers such as Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Sheoldred, Whispering One, and Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Sefris accelerates the plan by converting every creature-to-graveyard event into dungeon progress and free reanimation, but the 99 already contains a complete reanimator shell, so the deck remains functional without her. Secondary pressure comes from initiative/dungeon payoffs (White Plume Adventurer, Radiant Solar) and recursive value engines.
