Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Eriette of the Charmed Apple to establish a controlling pillowfort and attrition engine before executing a decisive life-drain combo. By attaching low-cost Auras to opposing creatures, Eriette completely prevents those threats from attacking you while draining each opponent and gaining life on your end step. A dense suite of cost reducers and enchantress draw engines ensures rapid resource deployment. The deck defends its board using targeted protection Auras and redirection spells, while mass-reanimation effects like Retether and Replenish provide resilience against board wipes. To close the game, the deck combines Exquisite Blood with Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Enduring Tenacity, instantly converting any life gain or loss into an infinite damage loop across the entire table.
