Deck overview

Wan Shi Tong, All-Knowing leads a mono-blue control deck that turns library-tucking effects into an aggressive, unblockable Spirit army. By casting spells that place cards into libraries—such as Anchor to the Aether, Tolarian Contempt, and Memory Lapse—the deck repeatedly triggers Wan Shi Tong to generate elusive 1/1 Spirit tokens that cannot be blocked by non-Spirit creatures. The game plan focuses on establishing early ramp, deploying the commander on Turn 4 or 5, and then chaining removal and cantrips to amass a wide combat board. Card advantage engines like Bident of Thassa and Curiosity Crafter reward successful combat by refilling the hand, while lords like Supreme Phantom and Patrician Geist accelerate damage output. Although the deck lacks mass sweeper protection and fast combo kills, its high density of versatile interaction and unblockable combat pressure creates a formidable mid-game engine.
