Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf tribal/Equipment deck helmed by Giott, King of the Dwarves, a two-mana double-strike commander who turns every Dwarf and Equipment entering the battlefield into a rummage: discard a card, draw a card. That cheap, repeatable looting is the engine that keeps the deck moving while Kili the Resourceful adds extra draw and Magda, Brazen Outlaw converts tapped Dwarves into Treasures. The primary path to victory is combat: suit Giott, King of the Dwarves with evasive Equipment like Trailblazer's Boots and Gimli's Axe for a fast commander-damage clock, while Dain of the Ancient Halls, Fili the Pathfinder, and An Unexpected Party amass a Dwarf swarm that converts into global damage. A secondary line runs through Magda, Brazen Outlaw tutoring Hellkite Tyrant or Smaug the Magnificent onto the battlefield, with Balin, Loremaster and Buster Sword providing burst draw and mass-damage payoffs. Rebuild tools like One Last Job, Ascend from Avernus, and Court of Ardenvale keep the plan alive through wipes.
