Deck overview

This Sultai deck is a synergistic typal strategy led by Maralen, Fae Ascendant. The game plan focuses on rapid early mana acceleration using low-cost mana dorks like Elvish Mystic, Llanowar Elves, and Priest of Titania. Once mana velocity is established, the deck casts Maralen, Fae Ascendant on turn four to start exiling cards from opponents' libraries. Each subsequent Elf or Faerie entering the battlefield exiles more cards and enables casting an exiled spell for free each turn without paying mana costs. The deck maintains battlefield control through attrition pieces like High Perfect Morcant and Savra, Queen of the Golgari, which distribute -1/-1 counters and force creature sacrifices. Card advantage flows continuously from commander theft, Rhystic Study, and Dire Undercurrents. The deck reaches critical pressure around turn six by expanding the board with Elven Ambush and buffing the team with Elvish Archdruid or Elvish Warmaster, closing out the table with lethal combat damage by turn eight.
