deathtouch poison by metz4848

Format: Commander

Commander: The Serpent Society

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Serpent Society leads a Golgari attrition deck focused on deathtouch creatures, forced sacrifice edicts, and poison pressure. The commander punishes removal with a punishing ward cost of five poison counters while turning every traded deathtoucher into a one-sided board wipe. The primary gameplan swarms the battlefield with low-cost deathtouch and toxic creatures to lock down combat and deter attackers. Early poison counters from Fynn, the Fangbearer or toxic beaters compound with the commander ward to turn any interaction into lethal risk. The deck clinches victory through toxic combat damage, massive overrun alpha strikes, or continuous life drain from Syr Konrad, the Grim.
