Deck overview

Zask is a graveyard-value engine for a Golgari Insect deck. The primary plan is to self-mill aggressively, then use Zask to replay lands and Insect spells from the graveyard while Scute Swarm, Old Rutstein, Crawling Sensation, and Crawling Infestation build a board. Syr Konrad converts those deaths and millings into damage. The hidden commander is Grist, Voracious Larva // Grist, the Plague Swarm: the front face is a cheap Insect enabler that transforms when cast from the graveyard, and the back face's -6 ultimate turns the stocked graveyard into an Insect army. Secondary paths are combat with trampling insects and Deathbringer Regent's one-sided wipe. The deck wins through repeated value and drain, not a fast combo.
