Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Villain typal midrange strategy helmed by Thanos, the Mad Titan. It leverages the connive mechanic to loot through the library, grow its creature suite with +1/+1 counters, and trigger high-value discard and second-draw synergies. Rather than racing toward fast combos, the deck focuses on establishing persistent board presence through token makers like Ultron, Unlimited and Madame Masque, while extracting value from cards with the Mayhem mechanic like The Squadron Sinister and Abomination, World Ravager. Thanos acts as a massive deathtouch, lifelink anchor with a built-in asymmetric odd-or-even board wipe capability to reset opposing boards. Winning lines center around building a wide, heavily buffed board of Villains and closing the game out with flying anthems or damage doublers like Absorbing Man and Titania. While mana fixing and protection spells are light, the deck maintains steady recovery through graveyard reanimation and steady card filtering.
